Chicken Soup for the Soul: Tough Times, Tough People: 101 Stories about Overcoming the Economic Crisis and Other Challenges My favorite reading is the novel. I rarely pick up a book of short stories or essays because I enjoy plot development. However, noticing how popular Chicken Soup books have become, I decided I had to read at least one for myself. Now that I know why others enjoy these personal short pieces so much, I’ll be reading more of them. The book is appropriate for all age
